Excel® Area Property Functions V1.0
Given a selected 2 dimensional array of x and y
coordinates of an area the following area properties can
be determined:
- Cross-section area, Axy
- Maximum Principal Area Moment of Inertia, Imax
- Minimum Principal Area Moment of Inertia, Imin
- Area Moment of Inertia about x-x, Ixx
- Area Moment of Inertia about y-y, Iyy
- Area Cross Product Moment of Inertia, Ixy
- Angle from the x-axis to the Imax axis
- CG location on x axis
- CG location on y axis
