< 925 C the following air thermal
properties can be determined:
  • Conductivity, W/m-K
  • Kinematic Viscosity, m2/s
  • Prandtl Number
  • Specific Heat, kJ/kg-K
  • Viscosity, Pa-s

Given a selected temperature 0 < T < 75 C
and mixture concentration the following
water, water ethylene glycol mix or water
propylene glycol mix thermal properties
can be determined:
  • Conductivity, W/m-K
  • Kinematic Viscosity, m2/s
  • Prandtl Number
  • Specific Heat, kJ/kg-K
  • Viscosity, Pa-s
  • Freezing Temperature, C
Coefficients in Air

Given the body surface and ambient air
temperatures -170 < T 925 C the following
determined:
  • vertical surface
  • horizontal cylinder
  • sphere
  • horizontal lower flat surface
Forced Convection Heat Transfer
Coefficients in Air

Given the ambient air temperature -170 < T
< 925 C and the air velocity the following
convective heat transfer coefficients can be
determined:
  • Flat surface with parallel flow
  • cross flow over a circular cylinder
  • cross flow over a sphere
